Anyone got this working? I get all sorts of errors when I try and load the train in MSTS. Have tried editing the consists and the .eng files to correct what appear to be the errors. Also tried renaming some files where the .S and .SD are named different.

Any help appreciated.

Try consist builder to find the faults. I had to alter the engine and wagon names in the rear power car (there is three of them), I don't know if it works ok in MSTS but I get a clean bill of health from Consist Builder.

Spent a long time editing things, and have found a number of faults in both the .eng, and the .sd files. Corrected, and now got a working 170 :D Just gotta add the cabview and check the sounds and it will be pukka!

Appologies for this minor . up.

If you are ok with editing engine files open the rear engine file 'Turbostar_170104_rev.eng' and replace all instances of 'Turbostar_170104_mid' with 'Turbostar_170104_rev'. This should then correct the problems. I will update the setup file today and try and get it rushed through for anyone who doesn't know how to edit the engine files.

Perhaps if someone could actually tell me what the problem was then I could fix it. I found errors in the rear engine file. This was repaired. THERE IS A PROBLEM. If someone can tell me exactly what the error is there is a chance I can fix it. What errors are you getting?

I found that the .S files and the .SD files were named differently, so had to open up and change the .S names within the .SD files. Also, the .eng files were not correctly pointing to the correct .S files so these had to be changed. The consists both had some of the vehicles named differently to the .eng files so these had to be corrected.

Finally, I also had to do some tweaking of the lights as the positions were a bit out, and edit the controllers to make the unit use an EP(?) brake and common controller to work with the most recent cabview (Kenji Kimura).

I can let people have a copy of my edits if they PM me.

I have resolved the issues now thanks to James's message.

I am in the process of creating a patch now to upade the 'patched' version available on UKTS so that it works. Does anyone have the original version with the photo textures from before I claimed to have fixed it? (v2.0 i think)
