Tim,

Sorry to hear you are unwell. Like some of the others who have posted here, I've been there and it is hard at times. Certainly poring over a computer screen won't help so I do understand why you have to let it go for a while.

My only advice would be to do plenty of gentle exercise if you can - I know it is hard to work up the enthusiasm but it will help.

We all hope that you will recover soon and be able to spend at least a little time with this hobby to which you have contributed so much.

With every best wish for a speedy recovery.

Chris

Wishing you a speedy recovery Tim. I'm another who can empathise having suffered a bout of depression after a car crash 30 years ago. Thankfully not had a reoccurrence for many years. Computing is not condusive to good mental health and time spent away from it will only do you good. Find hobbies more socially inclusive.

Best wishes

Gordon

Completely missed this until now!
Anyway I very much echo the sentiments expressed here and hope that some time, hopefully much sooner rather than later, Tim gets better!

I only learned of this a couple of days ago on another forum. I must add my very best to you Tim. Recovery from serious illness of any sort is difficult: I've faced it more than once. Do know that you have a lot of support out here... -Phil
