I also want to publicly express my best wishes to Tim, get well soon mate!

We all know his contributions to MSTS over the last 4 years, but I want to express my personal thanks as Tim dug me out of a particularly nasty MSTS hole only 4 days ago!

Very sad news.

As someone else who's suffered from mental health problems, I also looked to MSTS as a hobby to assist, as have others, and it does .... up to a point. Beyond that, it's not.

Tim's done more than his bit.

I'm sure others can build on what Tim has achieved but at the end of the day, health should always come first.

Step back, take stock, ignore external pressures and dictate your own pace to recovery.

All the best,

John

Get well Tim, without UKFS my motivation for route building would be much diminished. Not only that, without that first 47, and of course the TSF site that started it all, the UK MSTS community would be nowhere. I am also sure that the TMTS guys will make sure that work you have done will hopefully still be useful in future simulators.

Get well Soon

Tim,

Whilst I'm still a novice route builder, I wouldn't have got into it half as quickly if it hadn't been for UKFS and the help and advice you offered along the way, either directly or by reading advice you'd given to others.

The MSTS world will be poorer without you around

Wishing you a complete and speedy recovery.

Tim,

You have brought so much to this community over the years that I am sure you will be sorely missed.

I seem to have more to say but just can't figure out how to say it,

Niall

Tim,

As a relatively new user of UKFS I have nothing but massive admiration and respect for the work that you must have put into the development of UKFS specifically and the train simming hobby in general.

Heres wishing you a speedy recovery from your illness and I hope a return at some time in the future to the train simming community.

Take care of yourself - your contribution to the community here has been outstanding, but your health is more important than anything else. I've been "there" ( he says, like I have any idea quite exactly you're going through) as I'm sure have many people here at some point in some way or other, and I know that it can be tough. Get well soon.

Tim,

It's all been said but thanks for your brilliant coaches. They're in my top five UK stock "must haves".

I hope you'll be back when you've recharged your spirits. Take care of yourself. Hope you'll be "out of the tunnel" soon.

You've given us loads. It is appreciated.

Geoff.
