These errors are often due to your settings being too high so that MSTS cant load them from your hard disk quick enough for the sim. Try turning all your settings (in options) down 2 notches - sound seems particularly likely to cause problems. If it then runs ok you can experiment by turning them up one at a time until you find the best setting for your PC> :)

I get a similar message when approaching Crewe. I just save the activity when I know the error message is about to appear, turn the sound options off, continue with the activity for 1/2 a mile, then turn the sound back on.

My comp is a fairly high spec and can handle most routes with all sliders on full but I still need to turn things down occasionally. Notably TM around Crewe and Chester. S&C 1920's around Carlisle is another that really gives your graphics card a heart attack.
But I know that I would rather have a highly detailed route that someone had put a lot of thought into, even though it may be the sort of route that I might have to juggle the settings in places.

I am not complaining I think the route is outstanding. I hope in years to come I can turn out routes as good as this.

I got that route a couple of weeks ago. It a marvelous route that will keep you entertained for weeks.

It is large though, for the first time I had to reduce my settings as at the highest level it's like driving a train through syrup.

You can free up your system though using msconfig. I stop every program thats not needed for the running of windows from starting including my firewall and virus scanner. You have to make sure you not connected to the internet when you do that.
