Hi Everybody. I am looking for some crews to populate the cabs of diesel engines, class20,37,56,47 and the likes of. I found some on UKTrainsim but they look like they are for steam engines. Can these be used? What crews do everyone else use?

Hi
Some models come with them.....others are removeable...added as freight animations.
I believe there are some available on http://www.the-train.de
Personally I hate them.
Cheers

The problem is withe the type of transparency used by model makers for most diesel loco cabs. Even when a driver is installed, he cannot be seen through the window.

An exception to this is the SVR diesel locos and I included crew for these in this package.

If you have SVR, you could experiment with this in other locos.

I agree with Jon, I hate them too.... but at least there should be a choice.

Thanks jbilton. I had a look on the train.de website but no drivers. Why do people not like crews. Ive never bothered with them before but now with the advent of Kiegill's superb engine sounds, having a driver less 20 or 56 pass you seems to detract from the realism.
