Hallo!
I'd like to inform you about a strange phenomenon I noticed after installing the update. Maybe it's a help for other people having problems with the route.
I run several installations of TS. Knowing the long loading time of the route from previous versions I shifted my other British routes and most of the paths to another folder. So Mersey was the only route in my British TS installation. But I couldn't get the route working. MSTS always crashed. Then I shifted the default Settle-Carlisle route back into the game - and it worked fine. I was able to start exploring the route without any problems, and had a great time enjoying British railway athmosphere of the steam era at its best (as far as I as a German railway freak can judge it). Once more my compliments to the creators of the route!
Keep on steamin'!

Hi Deitmar.
That is a strange phenomenon. I run several pairs of Routes and Trains folders, renaming them as necessary. I have installed TM4 as a stand-alone route, i.e. it is the only route in the Routes folder and the necessary stock and consists are the only ones in the Trains folder. I have had no problems with it at all.
Before you moved the default S&C into the Routes folder, did you run one of the utilities like Activity-Analysis or Route-Riter on it?
Regards,
Bob.

There are plans I believe...but as yet....no release date.
Dave has stated though that the CD will not include any new stock or activities.
Which thinking about it , it couldn't as there were locos missed off the 3.2 CD due to lack of space.
First UKTS DVD anyone.
Cheers

Although thinking about it V4 is actually smaller than V3 in my routes folder because I did a lot of cleaning out of unused files, so there may well be room for some more stock - thinking particulary of Simon Barnes' excellent Buxton Whitetop DMU's and Dave Brans Duchesses which were not avaiable for the V3 CD, and also not forgetting the Claughtons - I had better stop!!jbilton wrote:HiDarwinS wrote:On a different note is there any plan to update the Thames Mersey CD to version 4?
