Hello All,
Sorry if I'm being pedantic.
But I've just been playing one of the activities that came with CC4, and the work schedule is badly worded.
The activity I was on was empty coal wagons from W Brom to Walsall St Goods.
It says in the work schedule that after parking the wagons in the 'Goods in' line. I should re-attach to the brake van, and then continue back.
I presumed 'continue back' meant back to W Brom, but as soon as I re-attached to the brake van the activity ended.

Yea some of the activities are like that
You just have to bide with it. The only thing I can think that has happened is that when we have to couple back up, is that it is too close to the "end activity" marker, or the last part of th path, therfore cauing the activity complete message to come up.
Hope this helps.

Sorry about the missunderstanding, its that the activity complete message
was behind the brakevan, hence continue back until it triggers.

Thanks for the replies James and Don.
I don't know whether I'm giving the game away. If so DON'T READ ANY FURTHER!!!!!!! I just been driving a goods from Dudley Port to Bagnall Wharf, and an incident occured. Further details below:
When I just past Coseley. I was diverted onto GWR metals, which is fine to go via Wolves LL.
The problem, and it may just be my computer. On the track monitor the signal was green, but on the screen the signal was red. I saw a train coming in the opposite direction, thinking I had the right of way I carried on and BOSH, BANG, WALLOP !!! LOL ! The train coming in the opposite direction crashed into the wagons of my train.
I'll know next time to believe in the signals not on the track monitor !

I've played this activity several times, and not seen that, in fact I don't recall red signals anywhere around the diversion. I wonder if you are getting there too early? I don't bother trying to keep to time or keep a lot of speed on the freight runs, so I could be getting there after the crossing train has passed.
I tend to only play the freight activities because the timetabling is much looser, and I like to amble along looking around me, and not having to try to pick up seconds just for the sake of passenger - oops, I mean customers.
