Post by rtracey »

I`m thinking about downloading the F1 transit route for msts but I can only find two trains on UK Trainsim suitable for this route, can anyone tell me where I can download trains for this route?

Try http://www.train-sim.com
but it's difficult to get on, especially at weekends if you're not a premium member. Hope this is some help. I will have a look later if I get time and get back to you.

Don't see much there, just a couple of acts., example below. I would guess most trains on that route would be more or less the same, but I could be wrong. Perhaps someone who's already had this route would know better.

Just enter the zip names into the train-sim search.

Do it now.
The site updates soon and you won't get in.

Hi
All the trains are by
"Island Electric" models by Jeff Link and detailed texture artwork by Frederick Dreany".
There are some brilliant models......all available on http://www.train-sim.com .
When Fred Barbieri released the route...I enjoyed it so much...I asked him to upload here...(as there are a few Rapid transport fans).
Fred then wrote a couple of activities...which required a new maintainance train....which Jeff produced in record time.....and the 2 trains currently in the library.
David(spikey yorks)...then wrote an excellent activity

which uses virtually all the trains available.
Fred is currently working on another...larger route.

I should add that once in the "Subway" part you can use any RT train...Fred himself often drives LUL trains...as they are such excellent models...and the Paris Spragues..." fantastique Monsieur"
There are plenty of well modelled trains around the world....its just a matter of getting away from the UKTS site....once in a while.

Cheers
Jon
