Interesting cabview

Post by jbilton »

Hi
Quick question...do any of the modern MUs have CCTV? fitted.?
The reason I asked is that I've just downloaded a cabview...where the author has cleverly altered the left view....so that it appears your looking at a CCTV screen on the dash....with a view of the platforms.
Neat idea....I think it could be incorporated into a UK view....if there is a suitable train.
Cheers

I think the Southern 377's are being retrofitted with external CCTV cameras.

The Metrolink trams don't have CCTV on them, but they have a little mirror that folds out from the cab, so the driver can see the passengers getting on the platform, and when to close the doors!
