Pacific Surfliner from Facing Point media UK release, when?
Does anyone know when the Pacific Surfliner route will be available in the UK as a commercial product? I have looked at this route many times on the Facing Point website and I like the quality of the route and rolling stock, but at the moment its only available to download from their site but the only payment methods they accept is Mastercard or Visa and I don`t have either of those cards. Anyhow if it ever hits the UK i`ll be the first to buy it!

Facing Point don't have any plans I know of to market this route by any other method. You could drop Marc Nelson at 3DTrains an email and ask if he could arrange to let you buy it by other means, or he may drop by this thread and give you a reply here as he frequents the UKTS forums regularly.

Matt,
Did you download the route? or anyone else, because there's nothing on the CD that's not on the download. I know from the forums there, that consideration would be given to persons without broadband. An e-mail to Jarrett would possibly help now that the UK is starting to receive CDs.
I've posted on the PS forum that I'm in no rush now for the CD having backed up the route onto CD-R.
I know it's not the way to run a business and a lot of folks will probably think
"Once bitten, Twice shy". Maybe PS should take a good long look at how UKTS performs!
On the plus side, I did have trouble initially downloading,, but an e-mail to Jarrett was promptly replied along with an apology and a bypass of the download manager. Got it at the third attempt.

Well it's erratic. Game in Bridgend is still stocking Nene Valley Railway while Game in Cardiff today had neither MSTS parent programmes nor any add ons (did pick up a copy of GTA3 for £9.99 though, to fulfil the needs of my dark sidesalopiangrowler wrote:shops these days arent selling MSTS stuff its all by order only.

Well i been round most stores and especially birmingham where you'd expect something msts related and nothing i can fine add on wise yes v1.2 of msts is still very much on the shelves at 25% of shops. How many people are prepared to travel over 25 miles for a game when it can be ordered from the warmth of a home.
Alot of shops arent stocking MSTS anymore for the excuse of game in shrewsbury: "why stock it when you can by it online, we make more money that way"
