Hi everyone
Has anybody on this forum experienced problems running some of the activities on the Swanage Route.
A few cause my PC to "hang"
I am wondering if maybe I have managed to overtax my PC as I have several commercial add ons installed ie East Lancashire Railway, Severn Valley, West Somerset, Cambrian, and of course Swanage.
All the routes run perfectly fine on the best graphics setting in MSTS
Even the Swanage runs ok in explore route mode.
Kind regards Stephen

You may need to reduce the graphics settings a bit for some of the activities, because your pc is having to cope with lots of scenery plus AI traffic and static consists. It's also a good idea to set the "Sound Quantity" setting to medium, since sounds eat up memory. All of the activities were thoroughly tested and work ok, so any problems are due to pushing your pc too far. FYI, we did remove several hundred objects from the route (mostly bushes and trees) before it was released to help solve this problem, but clearly there was a limit to how much we could remove without ruining the route. Don't forget, that there is also a second set of activities included, which have had the static consists taken out. These all begin with "L".
If you do get a pc crash, you should be ok second time around if you restart from a saved activity. I suggest that you save regularly for this reason.
Have fun,
Martin

Hi Martin
Thanks very much for your reply I will bear what you say in mind
The Swanage route really is a fabulous add on I particularly like the various sounds etc and also the fact that one minute you are on the Swanage branch and the next out on the main line.
I bought this route on the strength of the Cambrian being so good and well detailed needless to say I'm not disappointed.
Kind regards Stephen
