Hi

Theres some videos on the front page. What worries me most though is that they have made almost no changes to the route in the year they've been working on. On the video, all I can see different was some stations added. Also, it now says London-peterborough, how about that eh?

Huh?
oh,
but it still says London-York.
Maybe they completed up to Peterborough.

Now there is going to be a competition between European Bahn and Makng Tracks probably?

You know what going to happen possibly
Rivalary

EB is so lazy, that they are probably not bothered to finish it. :(

The only good thing is VCTRL which I like.

All I can say is that both routes are progressing well. People are too busy building the routes to worry about screen shots. You can rest assured that more will be posted as the release date nears. :)

Its harldy the hardest job in the world. ECE is taking a long time to build, and with the lack of screenshots, it seems there is not much progression going on.

In my opinion, the screenshots sell the route. Although I see EB have gone for the options of videos, which isnt too bad I suppose.

What ?, are you sure ?, l thought MT was doing the GER main line from Liverpool St to Norwich, not the GNER, thats being done by Europeanbahn.

I really cant see MT double stamping GNER after Europeanbahn said they were doing it, even if it was 2 years ago, just doesnt make sense, they could be playing dead and when MT annouce theres and show previews then Europeanbahn offer theres up almost done, thus MT have wasted a lot of effort.

MT does not strick me as a group who waste effort.

Unless of course l missed the boat completely !.

Best regards

Michael

Hi, Anton

Videos seems to be the best choice, but somehow it's too big.

I heard Making Tracks being mentioned on Radio 1.
Some future computer games and Making Tracks.
Is this true?

Look at MT
They are on their development on LSE 2.
Maybe European Bahn wants to stick to the South.
Like what they've done with LBE and WCW(West Coastway)
I don't EB should be doing the White Rose route.
They should be doing East Coastway!!!
Who agrees with me???

Why do the East Coastway? They've done plenty of the SCT network already. Another place to run electrostars? isn't that a little pointless given that there's about 110 miles of route to do it on already, and that's just what EB have released?

Whilst I won't be buying their version of the ECML (I won't go into the reasons) I think it will give their catalogue a bit of variety. If you want an EB UK route then AFAIK you've got one part of the SCT network or a different part of the SCT network.

As for their video promotional method, it's all very well but I can't be bothered to download a video (i have 2MB Broadband, apparently, doesn't seem any faster than 512k). I prefer screenshots as they are quicker and can impart just as much information. They probably take less time to prepare than a video as well, given that you don't have to edit them, it's just "prntscrn", open paint, press ctrl+v and there you go, job jobbed.

Should we be so negatively discussing a commercial group here? I don't think so (PMs a Mod).

All i heard was a simple greeting from a Games Developer in the USA saying hello to them, thats all :-?

Making Tracks are making this route - surely they would have got stock for it, like their other routes? Why would they pick a route that is already being made - i mean, come on, name two companies who have made the same route within two years of each other?

Yes, the route looks good, as it is more up to date, it will almost certainly replace MidEast for me, providing the quality is the same throughout.
