Hi mark.
Would it be possible for you to do D9000 with small yellow ends as a preserved loco, and also some 40,s with the same as the yellow warning panels show the loco up a bit better.Hope you can help.

Richard

Yes I have more 40's planned, with varying degrees of weathering and all warning panel variations. I have shut up shop for a while to let my arms recover from Repetitive Train Injury so I don't know when they will appear.

I get really depressed going back and working on my older locos it just reminds me how . I think they are. The only new Deltic I have planned is an installer for D9003 so I can put on it UKTrainsim and complete the set.

I have a Deltic s file with the headlight would you like me to send you that and the source texture files so you can do your own repaint (getting the cant rail stripe on is a . though)?

Mark

hi mark, and sorry forgot that you had mentioned about your injury elsewhere, and hope you get well soon.As for your deltics i for one think they are excellent and cant think why you mentioned the word ..I am not really experinced enough to do a repaint,so if someone else with your permission would like to have a go would be a great help.
kind regards.

Oh go on Richard have a go  .

I been helping else to do just that as there is a lack of repainters.

Fiirst you do repaints, then you make models, then you start a route, them you go 'stark raving potty' !

Cheers

Hi Mark

I hope that you are soon back into full production again but must say that your Deltic is most probably the KING of MSTS models and as stated before the word . has nothing to do with any of your models.
I know exactly what you mean though as I am NEVER really happy with any of my models and only see the flaws in them.
All of the people that download your models (myself included) are voting with their mice, even if nobody e-mails compliments anymore.
You will soon be back in top form!

Cheers

What do you mean, repaints then models then routes?

I did routes with the odd repaint, not gonig near models.....i got a mate to start trying that with 3d max, must wait till after exasm before we can actually get stuff gonig that can be imported.

(He's quite good BTW saw his helicopter for a hand in.............. )

I also started (and still doing...) Route Building, then had a dabble at reskinning (the Metrolink Tram!) and now modelling (static items only thus far) with TSM.

I dived in at the deep end a while back all that DEM Data Long/Lat stuff route building , then had a go at loco building , and still enjoy it , what ever you create its great to see your own creation actually appear in MSTS !

Is Mark Shipman still around, as i have pm'ed him about a repaint of his class 50. I did see that the files needed had been uploaded or something {i am not too hot on this repaint thing}, does this mean its ok to repaint it?
These are just questions, not statements of intent.
