Add on's from GAME

Post by steve1850 »

I was in Game today in Poole and they had Buy one and get one half price on the Train Sim add on's (19.99 each). The add on's where: Brighton to Portsmouth, West Somerset and Great Electric locos.

I got Brighton to Portsmouth and the West Somerset.

Hi
I think this is just another variation of 2 for £30........but good value if you require 2 routes.
Last time I looked it even included SVR...which was priced at £24.99 on its own....so very good value.
You can get most routes for £15 from http://www.play.com

Best value ever from Game - I got Protrain 3 (English Version) for 99p from Game at Lakeside Thurrock!!! I think a hapless member of staff had put the wrong Sale sticker on it but they were good enough to honour it at the till. It's always worth having a poke around their sale items

Comments removed in favour of the generally good order of the forums.

However the theme of this thread was/is obtaining MSTS addons at reduced prices....advocating buying them from sources at full retail prices...does not fit in with this theme.....and seemed to me an unnecessary and antagonistic post.

Any insults towards members with any disabilities were unintentional

Cheers
Jon

I think Jbilton should appologise for making such idiotic statements.
being disabled myself after working for 28 years!
i find such remarks repulsive! and have no place on this forum.
perhaps a word from a moderator is called for.

I hope this isn't going to descend into one of those taxpayers moaning threads...

Sorry, but jon's entitled to his opinion - you don't have to agree with it, and it wasn't targeted at EVERY disabled person.

jon's politics are well-known, and one facet is that he's not a fan of the welfare system; I, too, would feel a mite disgruntled if someone were advertising that he spends taxpayer funded benefits freely on inessentials - and lest you think I know nothing of disabilty, my wife is disabled, though still working; I push her wheelchair around all over the show, I care for her needs, and support her in many ways - and we don't get a cent in 'public' support. If we did, I certainly wouldn't shout it around that I spent it on games software.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so long as it is not derogatory.

Jon may be entitled to his opinion, but it was not relevant to the discussion, and not particularly inciteful either. If Martin is disabled, surely the money is his to spend as he wishes? Also, Jon should leave his politics out of a discussion about cheap addons, especially if they may help develop a flame war?
