I'm having trouble with the Metro Cammells. Any activity I make with a MetCam set just freezes as soon as I hover the cursor over it in the "Drive a Train" index.
Only way I have got round it is to use the .ace files with another DMU and change the line in the .eng file to foolit into thinking it's a MetCam.
Superb looking model.

Also, thanks to all involved with supplying the DMUS, they are fantastic and fill a big gap in MSTS downloads

Thanks from me to all those who're involved in making the models.
It's a bit awkward if a second person asks for plans which I've already sent. People often don't want their projects known before they've started.
If there's any duplication, it's no one's fault as they probably don't know of one anothers plans. Thought I'd better post this after talk of duplication this week.
If anyone's interested, plans not sent to anyone by myself are:
Class 105 (available for some time)
Class 107
Class 115
Class 118
Class 119
Class 120 (I believe Jon Bilton had a screenshot of one in his sig not long ago and so one maybe 'knocking about')
Class 123
Class 124 (Tim Court)
Class 126
Class 127
Classes 201 - 206 (Class 207 sent today
Unclassed:
Derby Lightweight (Ian J has posted screenshots of one under construction)
Early Swindon 3-Car Cross-country units for WR, later ScR.
Blue Pullman (Midland) (Available)
Blue Pullman (Western)
All BR Railbuses including the very early BUT units built in the early 50's and used in the North London area.

I had exactly the same problem but having studied the eng files I think I have the solution. Towards the end of the 2 eng files there are 2 close brackets (highlighted in red below)thassos wrote:I'm having trouble with the Metro Cammells. Vigilance ( 0 1 0 )
Headlights ( 0 0.25 1 0 )
))
comment( fuel_level )
EngineVariables ( 5300 )
Sound ( "dmucab.sms" )
Name ( "Metro Cammel DMU_green " )
I suspected the effect of these two brackets was to cause MSTS to believe that the file ended there so I took out one of the brackets and then the Metcam loaded perfectly. You have to change both the A and C eng files.
Maybe an eng file expert could confirm that my thinking is correct.

Class 124 Trans Pennine DMUs
I have recently downloaded Tim Courts Green and blue TP DMUs. They are very good but an upgrade would be great Tim, if you can find the time. (The green version seems a little on the brown side or am I going colour blind?) I have also downloaded the Brunswick Green 110 which is very good. These models would be especially useful for operation through Doncaster and York if ever these areas get covered in a route.
