Megatron,
I believe that Just Trains have the .eng files that were substantially modified by Stuart (crepello) and from his description of how much time he had put into getting them 'just so', I think there are too many 'tweaks' to list! Not that this is a criticism of the original .eng files, but three cheers for Stuart as well!

ok ive managed to register online now and got the update
What a peice of work that eng file is stuart!
I had a glance over and the figures were extremely precise!!!
I must admit the HST now handles like a dream and just like id expected it to in real life!!!
Ive made a nice activity on ROb's ECML with it but i keep getting a broken coupler message 2/3rds through
Ah well!!
But well done again Stuart!

Thanks. I'm glad you like it. It should be reasonably realistic.
I've had broken couplers too on the same route, with various trains. You can get round the problem by increasing the coupling break values by a factor of 10 or 100.

Try changing the line in the .eng and .wag files that says something like:
Break ( 1.1e7N 1.1e7N )
to:
Break ( 1.1e9N 1.1e9N )
What you're doing there is increasing the coupling breaking force from an already silly 1,120 tonnes-force to a totally ridiculous 112,000 tonnes-force. Hopefully that should do the trick.

Hey - come on guys. My original .eng file wasn't *that* bad
Well - not considering I'm working from America with very little access to the data. Anyhoo - it's nice to see someone doing a bang-up job on sorting out the figures. User support always helps with aftermarket products. Pity MS don't feel the same about the core product itself
