I have about 40 routes, including most of those mentioned, all of which I regularly enjoy playing.
Of those not mentioned, I think Cambrian is still one of the finest ever made. Plus any of the MLT routes, Vern's CD compilation and the Southwold.

For the best combination of Steamers and Route Quality, SVR is still the benchmark - as noted elsewhere, SVR is very short, and that is why the route quality is SO high. The ELR steamers are also very good and it has the edge on the diesel side, but the route itself, while a good facsimile of the real world (had some input myself) is not quite upto SVR standards.
Of the long distance routes, T-M wins my vote, and makes a good arena for all of the previously mentioned stock to stretch their legs on.
I'm scratching around trying to find a copy of LSE in a shop to buy - mainly because it seems to have a fantastic rendition of inner-city South London, and I want to compare with what I did for Manchester and Sheffield on Woodhead in 2002
