Matt, you use Flightsim do you find that adjusting the Mip Mapping setting cures this problem of shimmering textures.
I haven't used Flight Sim in quite a while, no time these days :(

Hi Chaps

I think I've cured my fuzzy texture problems.

I have done 4 things.

1. Downloaded the 67.02 Beta Driver available at http://www.nvidia.com

2. Found that in the settings for the Geforce 4 6800 there was a setting for image settings, High Quality(slide slider furtherest right) my 4600 TI Card only had a Quality setting.
added x4 anisotropic filtering, antialiasing application controlled

3. Downloaded a manufacturers Driver for my monitor as oppossed to the Microsoft one that gets installed by default.

4. Last but not least Degaussed the monitor.

All these things seemed to help as the pictures below show.
First 2 are before last one is after doing the above.
Hope this may help others.
