Hi Rathdrum,

There are several programs available to convert .bmp to .ace files

1. In your MSTS Utils folder you will find Makeace.exe and MakeAceWin.exe with instructions on how to use them.

2. You can download TGATools2 from Martin Wright (a search of Google will bring up his site)

3. You can download Route-riter from the front page of this site, it includes TGATools2a.exe and has single button controls for a lot of file conversions.

Great stuff, cheers mike had a go at tgatools cant say i found it much use, i'll have a look at using the msts utility..

Then you haven't used it right!!! Make sure you get hold of Remipit too to remove the mid-distance blurring of the textures

TGA Tools is by far the best tool out there for doing this :)

Hi Steve,

In case you have not used it, AceIt.exe which comes with TGATools2a in the latest route-riter distribution is the latest version of Remipit but with further enhancements. Scott Miller let me have this version quite recently.

You can run both programs as stand-alone programs outside of RR if desired.
