er.... The clue is in the bits in BOLD in the quoted text from their web site...... In case you hadn't seen it the Cover has a picture of a class 71 on it....... Search for it on the Gameplay web site.
Geoff
P.S. Joke aside: Play.com were advertising it at £14.99

Some of my approaches in FS2002 are closer to the Class 71 than the BAe146. Especially in an ATR42.

I wonder what would happen if you did drop a 71 from that kind of height.
I bet the daily mail would twist it into some anti-rail safety story.
I can see it now: "RAIL SAFETY CHAOS: TRAIN FALLS FROM 30,000 FEET"

REALLY............I don't find this funny at all.....you are showing a alert terrorist how to destroy Thamesmead using only a Class 71 and £20 quids worth of software.........

ROFL
Joking aside, the route sounds interesting - has anyone got any gen about it?
Cheers

Yeah, it runs from 30,000 feet above Thamesmead down into Thamesmead at a gradient of 1 in 1.
Excellent top line speed.
Good frame rates.
Limited shunting in the activities though.

All rolling stock has the same traction charactaristic, though.
Max acceleration: 9.81m/s/s
Min acceleration 9.81m/s/s
And scope for activities in the "up" direction is a bit limited.
It's one of those peculiar lines where "up" is away from London, too....

oh, and 1 in 1 would be at 45 degrees wouldn't it?
that gradient is more like 1 in 0...

I never was much of a route builder.
