Re-Assigning keys in MSTS

Post by nelson »

Hi folks, I lately found a way to have single horn tones that you can play seperately as in real British trains but it means using the B key and losing your bell or DMU buzzer.
Is there a way of assigning another key for the bell? The N key doesn't do anything to my knowledge.

Cheers

Hi, the N key is assigned to the blower on steamers, i think the only unassigned letter key is "Q"

Hi
You can actually get the horn to operate as long as you wish on one tone, and then play the other tone on releasing the spacebar.
I've seen it done on a German Loco...which was very neat.
Dont ask me how....you would need to be a sound expert.

Doesn't the default "50" do this?
Or perhaps its the JustTrains HST. I know I've used it somewhere.

That keyboard layout is just what I need when I forget how to do something.

Trouble is, I need to exit MSTS when I need it.
I would be handy to have it as part of the game.

So here's what I did.
