Hi All

I've ordered mine on Thursday so I should get it by next Thursday as I live in Western Australia - I have already told my Postman who always personally delivers my MSTS CD's.

By next Thursday I look forward to a few more Activities from you geniuses out there!! so I can download and run them.

Kindest Regards

Mike

Ordered Thursday evening. Arrived 10-00am this morning. Installed and running without problems. :)

Many thanks to all concerned in building the route and to UKTrainsim for a brilliant service that simply cannot be beaten.

I feel I must make a comment about rachaelwinn a previous username's entry. The daughter of Dave Pascoe, one of the co builders, has a charming newish daughter called Rachel, albeit spelt slightly differently, to whom Dave and Jacqueline, his wife, have appointed me and my good wife as honorary grandparents. Good omens for the route and thank you for buying it. I am sure we all hope you enjoy driving it.

I am having to sign off as duty "erk" re trying to answer queries about the Paddington Penzance CD for at least two days in order to walk a few Pennine Hills. Hopefully both Derick and Dave should be able to resume normal duty on replying by Monday.

The erk comment refers to the fact that three of the "gang" involved with the route all have previous military time in the Royal Air Force. The term does rather date us.

Many thanks for the kind comments and please start building the Activities, I promise to try and download all of them.

My regards to you all, John Carr

To clarify a couple of installation points:
1. I recommend that if you have V1 installed, then back it up and delete it before attempting the installation of V2.
2. Any activities created for V1 can be ported to V2 but will generate path errors when you try and run them. To fix the errors, re-do the paths for the main service and for any AI service.
3. If performance is a problem, please have a look at the recommendations in the readme file - they have been tested and they are of benefit.
