Is this still going?

Obviously so :)

Well I'd lock it but fear an independant enquiry would be neccessary which could take years to report back with mighty tomes to publish and read.

I'm sure we can only wonder why this issue had to be brought up and rake up the dispute which runs alongside this bid for justice on the forums.

Two disputes running side-by-side is clearly not helping those involved with the existing issue or the site.

It wasn't meant to.

Hopefully the original issue can be resolved in private and I'm sure both sides would and probably, had agreed that was the best way.

As for the other stuff, Matt's had his say, nothing's changing although we've listened to your concerns. Now you can carry on arguing this issue or let it drop. I'm not fussed personally.

I think on good thing that has come out of this is that on the whole, the vast majority (democracy again!) are happy with the way the site is run. Not perfect, but as good as it can be :D

....and it also shows how a well-balanced debate should, and usually does, Moderate itself. This thread has run it's course very well, and is now gently easing itself out of the spotlight!

WELL DONE to everyone who has posted in a considered and creative manner!
This is how UKTS should be...and IS!!!!

Agreed. There were a few things which, while they didn't need to be said, have benefitted from an airing.
One or two misunderstandings over details have arisen; that's life - don't make a war out of them.

I'm still not sure if locking this thread is the right course; give it time and it'll die naturally.

Not sure what this actually means?

Anyone else got a clue?

We've gone over so much.

Even as a Trainz fan, it appears a little harsh if it's referring to MSTS :)

I have mailed the moderators with a request that the thread be now closed but my request seems to have been ignored.I thought being the original poster my request might have been granted but that seems not to be the case.

No message has reached me Boeing. I thought you weren't going to post on this thread again?

Rather than have the Gestapo move in and silence the thread, I would have thought you'd prefer a poll of the userbase to decide if it should be locked or not.
