So far I think it is but I got issue 6 today which included a slip of paper to say it will be issued monthly for the next 6 issues and then return to a fortnightly release again. I assume this is because it's been released nationwide from issue 1 and will give everyone else a chance to catch up with the North East. Look out for the TV ad's

Another SUPER BUMP
If anyone's still interested in this, the company have advertised a £2.99 introductory offer (for the first 3 issues) in this month's Steam Railway.
See http://www.uksteamrailways.co.uk/ for details. Looks like it's subscription-only & £5.99 for each issue after the offer ends.

As you've bumped it I would say that IMHO (if these were the same as the original series) they weren't very good. Some of the video transfer, film to DVD, was not very good. A lot of the footage was poor and the editing pretty naff.mdanie wrote:Another SUPER BUMP![]()

I know that's true of some "dedicated" Rail VHS/DVDs as well but if you consider the full price of these you'd be better off spending money on a good DVD from a known reliable source on a subject that specifically interests you. The "magazine" part of the deal was a thin glossy affair with illustrations and photographs but little content. I've bought better full sized books on railways from cheap or charity bookshops for the same sort of price as one issue of this.
Don't take my word for it buy a cut price version and judge for yourself.
