Very nice loco. The aliasing path to the common files in the sound files needs correcting. "../uk_shared/x_steam_rail_high1a.wav" should be "../../common.sound/uk_shared/x_steam_rail_high1a.wav" (and three similar entries).

Not sure about the injectors Rick, I can send a photo of the cab if that's any help (but the model is fairly close)

Thanks for the fix Dave, watch out for two more repaints coming shortly - SR and BR...

The whistle is a single shot sound of me playing with the K&ESR P class whistle, they were not long blasts and not really suitable for looping.

Hey,paul, thats cool, nice to see some custom sounds there!
I tryed adding my face into the firemens figure, but whenever i export it in TGA2,ill open it up in Shapeviewer, and the textures on the footplate crew go wierd, loads of white lines dashed across them.
Any ideas why?
Thanks
Chris

Chris,
When you convert the crew ACE, make sure it is a 24 bit BMP file and convert it back using TGAtool2 with no alpha.

Rick, I think there are two live steam injectors, maybe only one originally, however the device on the right hand side which looks a little like a weir pump on end is, I think, the steam reverser which the South Eastern were partial to on their locomotives.

Almost certainly a steam reverser. I used one on the P Class during my driving day - something we can't model with MSTS cabviews :(

Hi

(Great Model btw) Rick, are you working on a manual firing .eng file? If so, would it be possible to send the file over? I'm getting the constant blowing off difficulty again.

Ian

Would think so looking at it having a weir pump I'll make mine so
only a guess this but cones say 7 and 9 and the feed line around the
30 mark....but stress I'm guessing, you have to see if it holds boiler up
and adjust...........

InjectorLimits1 ( 50psi 0.30 1 )
InjectorLimits2 ( 60psi 0.23 1 )

Paul reverser yup shame we do not have enough cab builders
close to it would be one of the BA Kim Durose GWR ones but smaller.

Chris I'll drop you a file over later OK

I may do a rendered cab view for it eventually, but we can't model the reverser correctly as the lever position is actually the change of direction of the reverser, not the reveser setting.

A teriffic model.

It look so similar to a Calley jumbo I'm going to renumber it.

Can I request a 700. That's a Highland barnie to me.
