Earn up to £75 for playing MSTS......

Post by RichardBye »

Do you fancy earning £25 for playing MSTS and answering a few questions? If you perform well there's also the chance of winning a £50 prize.

I'm running an ergonomics study of the train-driving task using MSTS and am looking for some more experts to participate. The study is running in Leeds (travel expenses covered) until 10 September.

You qualify as an expert if you have been playing MSTS for a while - you will need to be able to run a diesel passenger service on time without causing too many problems in the restaurant car!

We're using a RailDriver but don't worry if you usually rely on the keyboard, as you will be given some time to practice.

Please contact me [psc3rb(at)leeds.ac.uk] if you are interested.

Many thanks
Richard

We live in a very different world from when I was young!. The idea of being paid to play a game for research purposes would have as mad beyond imagination!
Oh to have my time all over again.

I wish!

Leeds is a little far for me to travel, even for twenty five quid a shot - but how much travel expenses will you cover???

How many days would be required? Would you be willing to pay £36 to get me to Leeds via train?

We had this a few weeks back except it now 'earn' £75.

Then we learn it's earn £25 and attempt to win £50.

The outlay would suggest paying for an air fare would be possible :)

Maybe I should have put earn up to £75. Apologies if I have drawn you in under false pretenses.

That said, competition for the £50 is limited to a handful of people so there's a realistic chance for anyone who can keep all of their carriages on the rails!!
