Cambrian Signals

I have resignaled the Cambrain into the stantard BR Signals but I have noticed that there are LNWR signals on the Cambrian that are gantry signals but there is no Gantry loaded with the Cambrain route so the signals look a bit odd just floating there with nothing between them and the ground.
Has anyone else noticed this and knows how to install the gantries as well?

Hi
There weren't any gantry signals used in the route, so its not very surprising if a gantry model wasn't included.

Gantry signals were made for the Cambrian, but never used.

Try those in the BR/LMS kit originally by Edmund Kinder (file id:4983) or the Early BRCL kit (file id: 4984)

Maybe they're part of a complete kit that was installed as part of the route, and just not used?

That's correct, Barry. I made the signals long before they were needed and before Vern had finalised the track layout. Gantries were provided "just in case"

The signals just float in mid-air!

The gantry item was included in the development version of the route, but was deleted before release as it wasn't used. All the signals were left in however.

There's plenty of gantries available for download from this site. If you choose to modify a commercial route it's entirely up to you, but I wouldn't expect to be provided with custom items to allow you to do so. The .ref file was omitted for this reason.

I've downloaded the 'Signal Gantries UPDATE' but that doesn't look right and that is the only sihnal gantry that I can Find.
All the other gantries are electric ones!

Edmund Kinder's gantries were designed initially for his BR/LMS kit (semaphore signals) and he provided extension pieces for use with the dolls where necessary. The colour light signals came later.
