Wouldn't call lima great, they had a wide range but they were not interested in upgrades. The 67 was their best offering but it still had a lot of shortfalls compared to others. I think the proof is in the fact that most of limas range was replaced by superior models from Hornby, Bachmann and Heljan before Lima actually closed down. I for 1 don't miss them and I'm sure most modellers who want quality don't.

As for the MSTS model, it is a lovely model but the green 1 could do with the high intensity headlight removed :).

As for the MSTS model, it is a lovely model but the green 1 could do with the high intensity headlight removed .
Just finished a Green one with Duck Egg stripe and lack of headlight per 1960's nick :)

the dean forest railway diesel group are going to get the fleat of 73s out on the main line and i think they want 73101 back on the vsoe.

Is there any plans to do one in that lovely BR blue with small warning panel and white window surrounds and roof? This was easily the best livery imho.

I'd agree with you there Zack....fantastic....my favourite colour scheme too.

As far as I know, there are 2 versions of the electric blue in production (3 if jbilton is doing one too). At the moment, the liveries that aren't being done (as far as I know) are: BR Large logo blue, Intercity Swallow (which the GatExp ones carried for a short time) and all over NSE blue.

theres a class 73 at barton hill in bristol thats is intercity livery
