WOODHAUL

Post by jimmyladd »

Hi everybody
This just to let you know of the new things happening at the Woodhaul virtual railway. You can now take a shunters test to become a passed shunter. Very shortly there will be two shunting activites uploaded for you to complete, to become a ferryman. We have some reskinned locos in the various woodhaul liveries and will be adding to the different classes as they become used in activites. If you wish to join, the Woodhaul site can be found at http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/woodhaul/

There are now 2 class 21's in woodhaul livery to download and a class 07 shunter. The 07 will be used in one of the passed shunter activites. Also there are some class 56's which have been uploaded to this site.

Why are you using such unreliable stock in the Class 21's? Grab a few more reliable pieces of kit..nice repaints though :).

Then most of the time you would have 0% fleet availability!

That Valenta 'whistle' in a smallish loco will be something to hear. Myabe a Paxman 185 Prime Mover as fitted to some Class 43s would have been better to put in them?

I believe that in some 43s the Valenta's became too unreliable so the 185's were fitted to them in replacement. They are more powerful engines, but they get downrated to the same output as a Valenta.
