London-Brighton Downloading

Post by ABABAB »

Hi all
I've been on the forums for a little while now. I have bought several freeware CD's and have a few payware CD's. I now think it's about time I tried to download some activities. I propose to load London-Brighton CD, would someone tell me of one or two download activities using default stock (in other words to make it as easy as possible for me to start off downloading activities). Help would be most appreciated.

I believe all of Laurie's activities use default LBE Stock

Search the download library using his username, lad491 and class [activity] London Brighton

Alans correct. I think that with only one or two exceptions, all use default stock so you wont have to download anything else. Many of them compliment Alans excellent activities by being return runs for the services on the CD. If extra stock is needed it will say in the description so you can either avoid those, or use the related file facility to download what else is required, look at the bottom of the download screen for details.

One activity - Victoria to Brighton Fast wont work with the add pack but works with V1.0 and V1.1

Each of my activities were packed up into a zip file using RouteRiter. To install them, if you have winzip just extract the files into your MSTS folder and everything will get put into the right places. Unfortunately Windows XP's zip file utility is not so obliging and if you use that you should unzip everything into a temporary folder and then copy the contents of each folder into the one of the same name in your MSTS folder.

If you have any problems with any, post a note on the forum here or at Europeanbahn's site or drop me a PM. I check both forums at least once daily.
