Dog Rescue Organisation - totally off topic but please read

Post by Breedlings »

Evening All,

Firstly appologies to the moderators about diving in here but wanted as many collective brain cells as possible seeing it's a matter of life and death.

Can anyone here remember the name of the organisation the advertises on TV and say they never put a healthy dog down. If so could you please post here and/or email with it ASAP.

My partners neighbour is going to definitely going to have to have one of her dogs destroyed and possible the second as she is having to move due to the landlord doing a dirty on her and we're trying to find as many avenues as possible to save them.

Thanks for the time

Alex

Hi Alex,

make no apologies for being off topic. I've two cats adopted from Hounslow Animal Welfare http://www.haws-animals.org.uk/ and we foster rabbits (pending adoption) for them. Fiesty little buggers by the way! Not at all the cuddly little "bunnies" portrayed on Easter cards. Much more the "personalities" of Watership Down. Every one is different.

If we can't help out on off topic items we're a sad bunch of "Gits"!

If all else fails check out the local paper. There's bound to be an Animal welfare group in your area.

Geoff.

Hi Geoff,

We've already adopted said neighbours rabbit after her son got fed up with it .... thinking about it probably more a case of bunny napped. Mind you it's slightly less gauling when the rabbit chews through the phone cable for the umpteenth time after sneaking in when it's your rabbit :-?

If we can find a safe haven for the dogs at least it will stop Lynn from deciding to be the local rescue group again

:( Whoops!

Should have mentioned the "cable chewing"!

Can really spoil your IT set up! No big deal though. Just keep em away from your computer....... and phone....... and Hi fi........ and, well you get the picture. They'd rather eat grass, and a bit of sawn timber and chicken wire makes a run cheaper than rewiring your techno toys.

Best of luck with the dawgs!

Geoff
