Sky conductor 2

Post by lemberg »

Having installed CC4 I can't for the life of me get it to accept sky conductor, has anyone got any ideas, and yes I'ved added it to the route as all the files are in there.

I had all sorts of problems over three differing computers with two differing operating systems with Sky......eventually got one working with it well........on the other two for a while I just ripped out the std environments and added suitable ones myself manually.............once Kosmos came out I have used that instead, and no problems at all.......so I recommend that........................

Take notice of what Bravedan says, it's perfect you can mix your own weather patterns and I have even had fog, thunder and lightning....Rick

I have to agree with Rick. Kosmos has gone way past SkyConductor, and all the old familiar Sky environment files are available to load into Kosmos. I think that they look better running in the Kosmos engine then they did in Sky.
Activities are what makes MSTS run

Hi Lemberg

Using Explorer, go to CC4 route, EnvFiles folder.

Delete the *.env files.

From EUROPE1 route, EnvFiles folder.

Copy the *.env files to CC4 route, EnvFiles folder.

Change weather in SkyConductor.

Kindest regards

Ray

Sky conductor

Post by lemberg »

All problems started after installing cc4 with the lazy mans installer, got crashes from everthing. so formatted drive(got 4 partitions for this very reason) reinstalled sim and cc4 again still no joy, already tried the envfile fix so gave in and am using kosmos after downloading it again as the disc it was on was cracked although I'm not fan of the skies it has. Tried to get into trainsim.com for sky conductor addons but gave up hope with that site now.
