They seem to have improved the legibility of the numbers on the various dials over other photoreal cabs. A good indicator of attention to detail. :D

Hi

The only thing wrong is the track texture - they need to apply the fix that stops it going fuzzy at long distances. (mip-mapping or something?, could someone say what the fix is because I cant remember.)

The list of freight stock looks good, finally a GW milk tanker - yay!

Route screenies look very impressive, nice crisp texturing and some good custom terrtex.

Looks excellent but why have they 2 versions of D7017 and none of D7018? Bit strange that.

Yes that is strange...but no western, shunters 03 or 04 either?
I'm more looking forwards to the Class117....hopefully with a good cabview and some decent sounds (Railwaves product).

PS Alister did you read that bit about the Whistler tour...straight up the Lickey...no bother...EEs for ever.

Release date for West Somerset won't be until July 2nd......that's if it doesn't get delayed again.

Some good addon packs to look forward to over the next few months. West Somerset, West Coastway Express, East Coast Express. But the release dates just don't seem to be getting any nearer!

Am hoping that the Class 117 sounds featured in this product are excellent. If they're anything like this http://www.brdw.co.uk/sounds/mp3_dmu-01.zip recording of the Class 110 DMU at http://www.brdw.co.uk then I sure am going to enjoy driving these DMU's! Will have to use them on other routes though, so I can get them up to a decent speed way above 25mph!

Hi

If the 117 sounds are half as good as Railwaves sprinter set (they are the same people), then it should be a treat indeed :D
