It's the next one from Contact Sales following on from Great British Steamers.

It has a selection of mark 1 and mark 2 coaches, modern freight wagons and a number of different diesels in a variety of liveries.

Just as with the GBS pack, not sure it'll really be of great interest to many online users who download a lot anyway - but for those that don't download or can't get things to work and those who are offline and don't even know about this lot, it should provide a pretty reasonable loco pack.

I'm writing some activities for it just using the default settle and carlisle at the moment just so there is a little to do out of the box along with a pile of consists (the biggest flaw in GBS imho was that it had only 3 consists and no activities making it a requirement suddenly to get in to the editing tools to use the product).

Looks like you get the same stuff and more on the NWE CD.

Still....If it encourages the general public to whom it is aimed, I can't be a bad thing.

Hope you are getting a free plug on the cover in return for the activities Matt.

I'm writing the manual for it too, so whether it's on the cover or not, i'll be putting a note in the manual! :)

Much will depend on how good the sounds are - particularly the 37's. The freeware 37 sound pack is excellent but still has a problem with looping and dropout at throttle settings below 50% when in cab or head out view.

Yes couldn't agree more....but if GBS was anything to go by...dont hold your breath.
I get the feeling its panic stations in the commercial world...lets squeeze a bit more money...before MSTS dies....very sad..very sad.
PS I hope I'm proved wrong.

Downloading the 37 sounds now...

Then all I've got to do is get round to reinstalling MSTS following the big reformat!
