Trainspotters MSTS screenshot competiton

Post by the142fan »

The new Trainspotters 2004: MSTS will be filmed as soon as i can get hold of a new camcorder, but here is a screenshot competiton to win this video before its released (about 1 -2 months before release) but either way the video will be free. But this is for fun anyway and the rules that apply are:

-Screnshots on UK routes and stock ONLY
-Trams and narrow gauge are exepted (and LU routes if any)
-WIP routes (such as GWML2) are exepted
-NO routes with no scenery please
-end date will be May 15th 2004

also please remember to number your screenshots

Get Snapping!!!

cheers,
James.

You mean you're going to film your monitor with a camcorder? Wouldn't it be better to use the TV out and play it into a VCR or something?

Should be able to, it is quite technical, lol

The quality of a camera filming off a monitor is VERY poor, and the sound is rubbish. You get the wavy lines moving up and down the screen.

apoligies, its 'accepted' and my camcorder doest do lines, well a small bit, thats by a very small light and doesnt brighten up much but just deletes some of the lines, but is there a way in the tv output to delete the little signs at the bottom that appear such as 'regulator 50%' and the F4 moniter just dont want that showing up, unless you dont mind...?

Can you not just switch them off before you start recording?

Sounds like a good bit of fun. I'll see what I can come up with over the weekend.
