The far north line

Post by wrighty »

Guys, does anybody have a valid timetable or past timetable for freight on the Far north Line as i want to create some freight activities. I have already put a couple up for download but they are just made up.

If anybody has could put them in a post or email me with them at allanriddler@msn.com.

Cheers

I know that there was, and may still be a regular train carrying pipes (I think) from Hartlepool to Georgemas Junction.

Not sure if there are any suitable wagons around on UKTS but I'm sure you could find something suitable.

Not directly a timetable, but SIAM do a couple of Inverness based traffic simulations (for years 1954, 1970 and 1981). These will give some idea of what times trains arrive at and leave Inverness - you can print out a timetable file - but you will need to do a bit of guesswork as to the timings en route.

One drawback - these are "Silver Series" traffic simulations so not cheap. £25 is a lot of money for two or three DOS based screens!
