Got my copy today, all the way to New Zealand.

I had taken the risk and sent cash in the form of UK pounds. Enclosed with the CD was a nice note from Ann Smith, thanking me for the order and telling me that they do take credit cards if I wanted to order anything from them in the future.

I'm off to explore.

Dear KWVR, I'v been thinking about this for some time now and I really would like to apologize for the "nonintrest" statement I made awhile back. I had no idea that all of the staff were volunteers. Sorry, I'm sitting at the throttle, head out the cab with egg on my face. :D Mike the Yank

Can anybody produce a stocklist for the KWVR? And also an idea of what traffic ran on the triangle.

It would help a reat deal with activities if we knew what the correct stock was.

It might also encourage the builders and painters to produce the stuff we can't get.

I'm afraid no stock is included on the CD, but it does plug UKTS on the manual.

For the KWVR,exMR and LMS Keighley-Oxenhope section

Suitable locos are the tank engines from Skipton 1920s, with the coaches also appropriate.

Later stock could be Jinties, Stannier Tanks, 4Fs, Ivatts and DMUs........

Of course this section is still open as the KWVR now, and several locos are on UKTS that are appropriate, 45212, 41241, 5775, Bahamas and the 4F comming soon

For the Queensbury-Keighley ex GNR section well.............

I suppose B1s, D49s would look OK, as would, but HA Ivatt N1 (none yet made) tanks were the regular locos from the 20s till the line shut in the 60s, but I suppose Stannier Tanks and Ivatts and 4Fs would fit..........

My suggestion is to write activities using any stock from Pat's Skipton trainset - then those who have Skipton won't need to d/l other stuff, even the small tender engines don't look that much out of place.

Good idea Martin.

I think the small tender locos may well have worked pick up freights on the branch as well............

The 0-4-4Ts look fantastic on the line, ands imagine waiting at Keighley while a double headed express roars through..................
