Hi David\Warwick\Matt and Alan

I have tried every type of combination ref the email address to Roger North and they all get rejected so I have tried my best to get hold of this Route but I will give up before my blood pressure starts to boil!!

Thank you for trying to help me out

I do hope that either Roger North or the KWVR shop let UKTrainsim (through Matt) distribute this route as it will make things so much easier for everyone to buy this route

Regards

Mike

If that e-mail address is correct, he'll be thrilled at the increase in spam he gets once the spambots find it, caused by publishing it here.

If the posts could be edited by replacing the @ with 'at' it should help prevent that.

Hi David

John is correct and as I stated in my previous post I will leave it up to Matt and Dave to try and get this route available through UKTrainsim

I certainly do not want Roger North to get spams through my or anyone elses endeavors to reach him by email

Hi all, here is a message that I received from Roger North in reply to a message that sent to regarding the add on.

"Hi again Tony

Apparently my route can be obtained thus:-

Send a cheque (UK bank) payable to K W V R P S for £10.99 to

Haworth Station Shop
Haworth
Keighley
West Yorkshire  BD22 8NJ

and it will be posted to you in (fairly, knowing KWV) short order.

Hope you like it.
Roger"

I have sent my cheque off today.

HTH.

Tony.

Hi Again
I Have now taken Rogers Email address off.I Didn't realise
it would cause Spam.I suppose it's a bit like putting your telephone
number on the Forums.Simply if you want the route go to the Railway
like i did, even better become a member of the Railway, and get the Mag
every Quarter.Ah Yes roger did say there will be a review of it in the
summer edition.Or just like i have said before contact or mention
a Mr Guy Hindley who is in charge of all the shops and merchandise
at the railway and don't forget Haworth shop is open i believe every day,
certainley at weekends. And i'm sure they do a a mail order service,or at
least they used to.Thats it for now

Oh Heck
I Have just read class 40's message so there you go everbody, problem
now solved.Enjoy the route.I wonder, this could be a good way of getting
new drivers in real life.Certainley we can now drive most locos from a
pannier,A4,B1,Black 5 etc,thanks to Bluearrow.When i went to the gala
last month i'm sure i saw some one driving, who looked to be about 18.
Having volunteered for a small while, it just seems such a long time to
be a driver, the Loco Dept say that it takes at least 10 years to become
one, crazy if especially you don't want to be a fireman or a cleaner. No
wonder the railway now or in the future will i beleive struggle to get
new drivers.Perhaps now folks we have got the answer. This route
therefore can be benificial to the Railway.Perhaps even set up a new
training centre,if not for the Worth Valley all of the preserved Railways.

I was told that there were some postings on this forum about my Worth Valley & Queensbury Triangle route and there seems to be some confusion about it so here are the facts from the horses mouth.

The route was rushed out to coincide with the Steam Gala weekend. I am a volunteer worker in the shops which is what gave me the idea that my route might raise some funds for the railway. We didn't know if it would sell and I only produced 10 copies, which promptly sold out that weekend.

It has now sold 30 so far and has just been made available via mail order and will be featured in the Summer edition of Push and Pull magazine as it is now too late for the Spring one.

It sells for £9.99 at the Haworth and Oxenhope shops or can be obtained by sending a cheque for £10.99 drawn on a UK bank and made payable to K.W.V.R.P.S to

Haworth Station Shop
Haworth
Keighley
West Yorkshire BD22 8NJ

I didn't include rolling stock because this is something I have yet to attempt with TSM and I thought would only be re-inventing the wheel anyway as there are so many excellent locos available here at UkTrainsim.
It seemed better to keep the price down and let people choose their own locos etc.

Thanks to everyone for their interest and kind words and I hope you enjoy the route if you do buy it. You'll be helping to keep the Worth Valley Railway alive and steaming!! :D

Like Mike from Australia, I to live outside the U.K. in one of the former colonies. I don't mind paying the post, but would like to know if they take cheques drawn on a U.S. bank. Thanks :D Mike the Yank
