GREAT CENTRAL RAILWAY NOTTINGHAM LTD - Vandle attack

Post by PABUK1 »

(More vandles then???)
-----
The ongoing criminal acts of destruction and theft perpetrated by local anti-social youths have finally destroyed the only refreshment facility available to visitors to the Rushcliffe Country Park.

Overnight on the 8th/9th February these morons, after finding nothing worth stealing, vented their brainless anger on the Kiosk and it was gutted by fire.

This Kiosk has been the source of substantial income to the NTHC over the past few years and it could well be too much to even consider trying to restore it. Needless to say the NTHC cannot afford to lose this amount of income without putting back plans for the future.

The willing and faithful volunteers have suffered considerably from these so-called people during the past five years but were not deterred; but this latest act may be the final straw for this facility.

This has all been followed by mindless acts of damage on company vehicles!

ANYONE WITH INFORMATION IS ASKED TO CONTACT US ON

This was coverd on east midlands today and in the Evening post

Why??? What do they hope to prove by burning down something like this - or anything, in fact. Yet another sad story - and I hope the culprits are found. I also hope that they are made to pay for the damage, and help in the rebuilding. Sadly, that seems even more unlikely.

Thanks for replying guys.

The ba****ds have been back every night since walking around our local country park (the one mentioned above) and have been keeping a close eye out, in the dark, to see when our site is empty and all have gone.

Last night, the site was cleared and deserted, OR SO THEY THOUGHT!

we laid and waited and went on our usual walk at a certain time and we were showered with ballast!! actually hitting the class 37 and other vehicles!

We phoned back for assistance, and once again had a look around and showered again, hittting a colluege on the head, lucky he had a bump "cap" on!!

They also bulit a " Wall " Of bricks over the rails nearly 4 miles away from the actual centre!!

Mindless idiots!!

Still they are yet to be caught, shame the police are not more supportive or have more resources!

so good you had to say it three times

Anyways, Back to topic, they are mindless fools with nothing better to do than to vandalise the railways, and cause unhappyness and debt to many, And no offence, but i want a train to of hit that wall and de-railed, so that they see how dangerous what they are doing actually is, they should go to hell.

Who's up for an Atomic Systems meet down there one night? Then we could "express" our distaste for vandalism directly to the vandals themselves!

Alternatively, when they're hanging out near the locos, hide inside one of the 37s. Then as they're standing nearby, start it up, give it full revs and watch em sh*t their stolen Adidas trackies!

I have a couple of ways to stop these burberry clad morons damaging your railway

First Measure is some nice high metal fencing with some sharpened spikes on the end, they would get a nasty suprise if they climbed up them

or

a more outrageous method would be some bear traps left in strategic positions :D , that ought to stop the little F**Kers

This sounds like a fun idea!

The idea with the 37 would be cool.

No, you'd be sued for causing distress to them by scaring them with a loud noise :D
