I used to have windows 2000 pro installed and then installed to XP. I never had a pause, let alone a "crash" with 2000, but XP is driving me mad!!! I have an athlon 1.3 processor, 1gb ram, SIS730s motherboard, Creative 3d blaster 420 graphics card and Creative sound card. The frame rates are better with XP, and I can always go back to my previous setup, but any tips on how I can get it running with xp? Cheers

In order for anyone to help you you should provide some more precise info....it's like you going to the doctor and asking him where your pain is!!!
I have Xppro and no real problems..
You'll also find that doing a search on this site is very useful (keywords:XP and Msts) and could solve your problems.
You will find that we always help those that try first.. before asking questions..

I've been using XP Pro for 2 years, and its much much better for MSTS than Win ME was.
With ME, everytime MSTS had a flakey I had to power the PC off and restart. XP controls it well enough that I just kill the task.

Soundblaster sound cards have been known to cause MSTS problems.
