Last time I did that bit of line was a Turbostar, so well, its not worth talking about, previous time though was last year behind "Northstar" on a drag to Nuneaton

. I'd spent the saturday between Nuneaton and Wolverhamton and had already been behind the Green 47, and a Virgin liveried one, aswell as a pair of 57s. Always loved doing that section on HSTs aswell, which I often caught up to Derby when returning to Loughborugh from Birmingham, and once even managed a 47. Not the same now though that its either Central or Voyagers, with me usually going via Coventry with a loco or a 321, both soon to be lost aswell. I can see soon it will be a case of "cool a 156, opening windows!"
Have to admit though one of the best was New Street North Tunnel behind a 57, now thats loud, shame my recording is a little ruined by an expleative as the driver shut off power and snatched the coupling causing me to nearly fall over
