Activity unpacking?

Post by Speedbird083 »

It's been 6 to 9 months since I was regularly using MSTS.
Sadly unacking activities isn't like riding a bike and seems to have bypassed my LTM .

Could someone kindly remindedme of the process :-?. It's not working or me :(.

well since all my activities are zipped up using routeriter (and what an excellent package that is) all you need to do with mine is unzip the file to the root of your MSTS folder and everything goes into the right places.

However, if you have the MSTS created activity files ( which I think are .apk files but someone will correct me if i am wrong ) you just drag those onto the tsunpack.exe file in your MSTS Utils folder and it should unpack the activity automatically. I believe though that there is a bug with this method and some installations need a registry fix.

Hope that helps and Im sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

Hi Speedbird083,

The bugfix can be found at uktrainsim File I.D. 409.

Cheers,

Alan.
