The Ebay item is clearly labelled as a pre-release issue, which suggests to me that what you get is not necessarily going to be the same as the actual release version, and may well still contain errors.

The other one, well, I'll wait and see.

Game.uk.com are listing release as Q1 2004 which I think is more realistic as Game are usually pretty accurate. I would'nt advise parting with your cash pre-ordering until you've a confirmed date from past experience doing this

I don't think that's a British train at all.

Hes not referring to the box art, but ne of the pictures clearly shows a Black 5. I remember Some company coming snapping 45407 and 50015 'Valiant' at the ELR in 2000 as well ;)

Sigh. As posted many times before, MTS2 is not coming out in Q1 2004...

If it was there would be extensive coverage on MS' own site, the various webmasters such as myself would have been contacted by MS' PR agents etc. etc.

I know these people are printing release dates but they are completely bogus (just as MVC's Dec 2003 for the PS2 A-Train 6 turned out to be false) and all that happens is peoples' hopes are being got up un-necessarily then dashed again.

When (and if) MTS 2 is ever released I'm sure we will know about it well in advance.

Exactly what I thought, I'd think Microsoft would have said its nearly completed if pre-sales are being sold on Ebay.

I'd guess if you got one, they'd send an email, "Sorry, there has been a slight delay in the sending of these copies" and you'd get it when it came out...thats just my opinion ;)

Simple fact - The game does not exist in any publishable form. The developers have slated 2005.

why do people say if its going to be realeased.
It is possible that no it wont, but, well, have you not seen the video's? Why would they bother realeasing video's and screenshots and letting people (like Amazon for instance) put it up on their website?

Surely this far into the development they would still make it, and with over a million copies of MsTS 1 sold, im sure they would want to cash in on a second version?
