Canton Closure??
Is there any truth in that there will be some sort of closure at Cardiff Canton?? I recently heard that EWS are pulling out of CF and moving it's operations to MG?

Canton is a DMU depot aswell i think.
I'd seriously appreciate any information people have on Canton depot, or depots {including berthing facilities} of Wessex trains, as they were talking about moving into Fratton depot or West Worthing. West Worthing is currently 'in use' by South Central, and the depot has then been ear marked as a preservation centre for Southern electrics, time will tell.
Anyway, any information on the future of Canton, or information on Wessex trains maintenance facilities is greatly appreciated

I've just recieved an email from the guy who runs that website, explaining abit more about the closure. Apparently the freight depot is closing, but then being re opened by Bombardier or something like that.
