I just wondered what other theories people had as to what the route is. I got mine and i'll reveal them if somebodies guess matches them

Yeah the closest i came would be Reading to Alton or something. I should think the way you're been promoting the little hints, its going to be a South Eastern line.

I would point out though that this project is in its infancy and there are still the WestCoastway, vCTRL, Irish route and Wessex already under development to be completed first, then will come Liverpool Street - Norwich, probably followed by Paddington - Oxford / Bristol, which will keep us going for quite some time. We also plan to do the Cumbrian Mountains Express, Glasgow - Edinburgh, Southampton - Weymouth, Portsmouth - Bristol - Cardiff

From the EuropeanBahn website, which also reveals what has happened to Rob Thoburn's GNER aproject.

Which of these publicly announced works in progress or planned for the next two years are you thinking of, Steve, or are you thinking about something else? The work programme seems a pretty big open secret, really.

Oh and for the avoidance of doubt I can say that the Irish route won't be next out as I'm involved with that and I'd be a damn sight more surprised than anyone else if that was planned to be the next release given where we are with it.

Best wishes from another soul-seller.

All publicity is good publicity and even better when it's bad publicity from some sources.

My only comment.

One person speaks for EB and he has spoke :D

Charring Cross-Dover Western Docks?

Charring Cross-Hasting?

Please say YES to those questions! Even if it's none of those two I for one will be looking forward to yet another Southern based route!

Southern based?

How do you work that one out?

Well it is southern based - for example, I am in Peterborough, you are in Norfolk, one Ian is Germany, the other in Retford, John is in Bletchley, Andy and Alan are in Bristolshire, Daryn is in Peterborough, Steve is in Colchester, Gary is somewhere near there - I would say southern in the sense of no-one north of the border but I am not sure where Alex resides! Ken, Dave and Nick may be southerners but there are a lot more who aren't, some of whom aren't even listed here!
