LOL, Like any LUL driver is going to let you in his or her cab, you could be a terrorist.

Mind you I had a cab ride on the Met line a few months back, but thats a totally different story.

Hi all,

It's not a very good thing to ask if you can a cab ride. There could be absolutely anybody monitering these forums, LU boses or anybody. Not likely, but could happen.

Thats alright, as he hasnt given away any details of the driver, or any info that would point out the driver.

You've got a 1 in a 100 chance of getting into a cab of ANY train.

Ive asked a couple LU drivers (One District & one Central driver ), both replyed 'No'

I would recommend collecting Driver Eye View videos instead!

The best way to go into a Tube cab is to go to the London Transport museum. They've got 4 cabs there where you can actully drive. It was some form of MSTS / BVE on the monitors but the controls are realistic. Even the deadmans handle which can hurt your arm if you hold it down for a long time.

I figure them sims are actually just custom built 3d rendered video sims, hence why the framerates are poor when you are at lower speeds. They run on Amiga platforms, not sure what type but they've been around for a while!
