Depends on the content really, Rich Garber and I talk frequently on the phone during building sessions and swap ideas etc, one thing I am looking at doing is the London end and making this look a bit more realistic using low relief buildings and back drops again but with a different technique, this would involve a few different models just for this area alone.
Tunnel mouthe and other buildings would mean a sunstantial content upgrade = bigger route, if its too big it may be a CD again, I don't know till I get into it a bit more.

Hi Tim
While it sounds good, try not to spend so much time rejigging the London end, as EB are going to use (i think) GNEREastcoast for a new route, so simply concentrating on just the ECML might be a waste of time in the long run. What would be better is to concentrate on going West and East with new branches.
However, i am sure that whatever you do will be superb!
Good Luck Tim

I have got the latest copy of Mid East in September, and I find it is a supurb route, my PC is in a middle of a upgrade, though it operates MSTS a lot better.
I am creating an Activity called the Lincolshire Lizard for MidEast where you drive a HST from KX to Newark along to the Power Station around the loop and back South through Lincoln and back to KX, I was hoping to send it down the line that goes to Houghton Oil but would have required reversing and for some reason reversing doesn't work so well except when I am doing a point where u wait in a loop with 2 Reversing points so u can let trains over take.
I was hoping you could electrify it with Sky High Catenary and Masts on the ECML.
Once again Great Route Tim
Gazz
PS U go through severa depots along the way.

Without it all kicking off, if you look at Europeanbahn's website, they have pretty much announced plans to build every possible UK route.........

The beauty of MidEast is not only that it's a great route to run but, with such diverse tracks, you can run anything you like.
Mainline, Branchline, pits and power station and even a preserved railway on which you can legitimately run any stock you like. As the Nene Valley Railway has a great mix of continental stock, with a little bit of "Simmers' Licence" you can also run downloads from German, French and other continental sites.
For those who are not familiar with Nene Valley trains run from base at Wansford into Peterborough (OK I know they have their own platform in reality but we're only playing games here - dont hit me for that one) and down to Yardley Junction where thetre is no actual platform - I have added a run round loop for the loco to change ends.
By the way, I live in Cumbria and was brought up in Cardiff so I am now almost as far away from the East Coast as I can be in England - it's still a great route - BUY IT.
