Tube workers decided to be a pain in the backside for X mas

I noticed on teletext tonight that the industrial action was off as there was an agreement to increase track inspections.

On the face of it a reasonable result? I defer to those of you with specific knowledge of the industry. :o

Sometimes the Union has to Huff and Puff to alert the management to the fact that their "house" is actually falling down! :evil:

Hardly surprising that such news was overshadowed by yet another fare increase! :(
As a lady from the rail users group said (and I apologise for the precis) "In any other industry the management would borrow money to improve the service, to attract the additional customers, to pay of the loan. The railways just pass all their financial problems straight to the customer!" :evil:

Route developers take note. Only historical routes are likely to be believable in the future. Perhaps in the interest of the future, this site should become "TrainSim Francais" ? At least they seem to still have a commitment to a rail "service"! :lol:

its a shame customers have to pay for bad managment and under investment but at least they will have a service.
