I think it'd be better if we got exclusive to the CD locos? Instead of stuff we can already download ;).

I can whip up a black 5 reskin in no time if ya want? 45192 sounds nice :), and then one of 40058's 37s?

Well 37262 definitely ran on the line as I remember being hauled up there by it! However until I get a response from the original loco authors I can't really set about creating the activities - may well end up being 26038, as I can't put stuff on the CD without permissions.

Hi Vern
I've done a version of D5124...with working headlights...for a bit of night/bad weather driving...if you'd fancy that :D
Jon

Hi John,

Definitely interested in D5124, especially headlight fitted as there will be a fair amount of night driving. Who's the original model author?

Good news is I've heard from Terry re the B5 which will either be 45167 or one that was based of Inverness. At the moment Mark is proving elusive as I needed to speak to him about 37262, as he built the original model.

Whatever locos end up on the route will probably need 9N break values for the couplings too, to avoid uncoupling problems.

At the end of the day I've only got limited time to create and test activities (with a 160 mile route it takes 4 - 5 hours to test each one). However once the route is out I'll be looking at creating some additional activities with additional rolling stock.

I'm currently testing the route for any errors in various time of day/seasonal conditions.

Due to continued difficulty in contacting Mark Shipman, I'm now going ahead with Black Five/Mark One activities for steam and Class 156 Sprinter for diesel.

At some later point I will upload some diesel loco hauled activities for download.

I'm now off into the Activity creator's corner for a few days to get things finished up!

I'll probably get round to knocking up a couple of activities with Sulzers and/or 37s, as I love this route - but not until I've finished the Ye'll Hev Hed Yerr Tea series for the W Highland, which itself is being delayed until I've finished my class 21 (do you follow?!).

I'll be quite happy if someone wants to go ahead and do some diesel hauled activities - activities are not my strong point.

In addition to the first CD's posted yesterday, about 35 went off this morning and another 15 or so to go tomorrow (so far).

WH Smith in Bridgend have kindly run out of CD labels (and A5 envelopes) so a run to PC World in Cardiff will be the first order of business tomorrow to stock up!

Vern - I'm sure this has been asked before but what is that image you use for your avatar ?

I just wondered as it looks like on of the two simulators released for the Sinclair Spectrum :)
