X-treme Express Has been released on PS2 this is a raceing game where you race trains with other people in multiplayer or against the computer controlleed train 2 trains raceing each oyher in a game never thought I would see that would be great raceing against your mate in differnt trains
i've got it as well,
it doesnt have opening doors as it isnt a simulator as m$t$ it is more a racing game where you have to make sure you stay on the track and alter points to knock other opponents off the track, but there is a station stop at the and of the race
Is it like Mario Kart where you can slow down your opponents by throwing things on the track but instead of shells and mushrooms you deposit things like leaves, the wrong kind of snow, inflatable boats and cows.
This game has been out for well over a year. I got it last year for Christmas after seeing it in Dixons, and I loved it.
I have since got rid of the game in order to get another game (could have been Zelda, but I'm not sure). It was fun while it lasted. I think I got all of the trains, all of routes and completed everything.
The activities were fun! I did consider getting the game again, but it wouldn't be as fun anymore. Christmas last year was quite memorable though...Tons of games, loads of time to play them...Pity I won't be doing so this year, what with all the work I'll be doing. Then there's MSTS and the routes and re-paints to do, and the Trainz route...Oh what joy there'll be on Christmas Day...Have lunch and then drive a RR43 down the NEC...mmm.
Project H2P status: Currently awaiting software to fix PC problems. Got a start on .mkr file, hoping to continue that soon. Wprk should re-commence very soon.
The trains are all fictional I think. There's a train from most countries in the game, as well as some specials.
The New York train is the best for winning the race easily, but the UK one is brilliant!

The yellow train in the above picture looks like the unrefurbrished Met-Cam EMU from Hong Kong!
Found some pictures of it on the web. http://world.nycsubway.org/perl/show?23063
Look how similar it is!
But you can't see it in service in real life anymore as in has been havily refurbrished and it looks totally different. Even the window formation is different!
If you were wondering, the avatar is me on Planet Stooopid...
